English Events seek to create a welcoming and relaxing environment where students can practice and improve their English outside of the classroom.
This semester we will host several activities including 👇
1️⃣ English Lunchtime Chats 🗣️
　• Bring your lunch and come have a casual chat about current news & events!
　• Held every Thursday from weeks 4-14 of the semester (starting Oct.1)
　• Location: MB1009
　• Time: 12:10-13:00
　• No registration in advance required

2️⃣ English Guest Lectures 🧐

　• Come listen to interesting talks about marine science in English!
　• Held in week 5, 9, 12, 14 of the semester (Oct. 6 & 20, Nov. 24, Dec. 8)

3️⃣ English Social: Board Game Night 🎲
　• Take a moment to relax after midterms and come play some games!
　• Held in week 10 of the semester (Nov. 11th)
　• Location: MB2020
　• Time: 19:00-21:00
　• A Registration link will be sent out closer to the date.

4️⃣ English Documentary Screening 📽️
　• Enjoy some popcorn and watch the documentary Chasing Coral
　• Held in week 15 of the semester (Dec. 16)
　• Location: MA3020
　• Time: 19:00-21:00
